I have to agree about GeekSpeak. Listening to an audio interview with *anyone* for 2 hours is too long. I wish they would be a bit more disciplined about the length of their shows, but I'll still listen whatever.

Posted by MattheW at April 19, 2005 07:20 AMOh, and Tempus too, if you played it.
Posted by Matthew at April 19, 2005 11:57 AMSadly I didn't play any of those games. This was a very strange Gathering for me in many ways, not least because for the first time it was more of a business trip than a vacation. I spent a good part of my time working on SarrettAdams prototypes and showing SarrettAdams games to publishers. Because of this, and despite playing in fewer tournaments than in past years, I still didn't get in all of the new games I was hoping to try.
Posted by Peter at April 19, 2005 12:21 PMYour game show was great. Don't worry about the scoring problem. The fun of the game was not affected by the scoring mechanism. Well except maybe not getting to yell "Hot Streak" but that is minor. As always your game was a highlight of the gathering. I say this even though our team lost because one of our members missed a bonus question. Had he not attempted it we would have won. Oh well. I enjoyed talking to you on our ride to the resturant as well. I had not had much chance to get to know you before. Keep up the good work.
